I just want to document my comments from a recent discussion on Twitter as I think they are worthy of keeping:
The joys and efforts of raising a family along with working full time do take an extra toll on people with Parkinson's. To keep up, I sometimes have to skip things like exercise or sleep both of which I really need to stay healthy and mobile.
I do not consider myself as one who is keeping things balanced. Too much to do. Like many #yopd it took 10 years to get diagnosed. If I had known sooner, I would have been able to make better decisions. Maybe then I could have retired and spent more time looking after myself.
